11th Annual Meeting of the Bulgarian Section of SIAM

The event is organized by the Bulgarian Section of SIAM and will take place at the Hotel of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia.

Topics

Following the traditions, the topics of interest include (but are not limited to): industrial mathematics; scientific computing; numerical methods and algorithms; hierarchical and multilevel methods; high performance computing; partial differential equations and their applications; control and uncertain systems; Monte Carlo and quasi-Monte Carlo methods; neural networks, metaheuristics and genetic algorithms.

Scientific Program

The scientific program of BGSIAM'16 will include: plenary invited talks, contributed talks, and poster session. BGSIAM encourages the organization of special sessions, including young researchers sessions.

Special Sessions

Abstracts and Papers

The participants who are going to give a talk during this event are pleased to send an Extended Abstract (up to two pages or 3600 characters) until October 30, 2016. A booklet with the extended abstracts will be available before the meeting.

Proceedings of refereed and presented papers will be published as a special volume of Springer Series, Studies in Computational Intelligence. The length of the papers is limited up to 12 pages. It is highly recommended to prepare the source files for the papers in LaTeX using the provided template files. The deadline for submission of manuscripts is January 31, 2016.
