About Lozenets
Lozenets (Bulgarian: Лозенец) is a seaside resort village located 65 km
south of Burgas and 30 km south of Sozopol on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast between the towns of Kiten and Tsarevo.
Once Lozenets was known as a small and picturesque fishing village, but nowadays it is a preferred destination for Bulgarian and foreign guests thanks to its nice beaches, excellent restaurants, numerous attractions, unforgettable nightlife.
The area has a wonderful combination of mountain and Mediterranean climate, which guarantees long warm sunny days and at the same time cool nights refreshed by the light mountain breeze. Average summer temperatures range between 21˚C and 23˚C in June and September, and between 26˚C and 28˚C in July and August.

The beautiful dance on the embers, one of the oldest Bulgarian rituals, is a magical experience you must see at least once in your lifetime. The practice of this ritual, inscribed in 2009 on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List, has survived authentically only in the villages of Strandzha Mountain.
