Here are some new terms for you:

A common fraction whose numerator is smaller than its denominator is called  proper.

For instance the common fractions from  а) are proper.
 

A common fraction whose numerator is bigger than or equal to its denominator is called  improper.

For instance the common fractions from b) и c) are improper.

 

2.  Write down: а) the proper fractions with a denominator 5;  

                                   b) the improper fractions with a numerator 7.
