Submission of manuscripts:

  • Preferably, manuscripts should be sent (either electronically in PDF or PostScript format or in hard copy, in triplicate) directly to a member of the Editorial Board whose field of interest is judged to be the closest to the subject of the paper. In case of hesitation authors are encouraged to consult the Editorial Office at the address:

  • Manuscripts may also be submitted to the Editorial Office.
  • Upon acceptance an editable version of the paper, prepared by either TeX/LaTeX or Word, should be sent to the Editorial Office.

Guidelines for authors:

  • Each author’s full name, affiliation, postal address and email address (if any) must be indicated, as well as the name, address and telephone number of a contact person with whom the Editorial Board shall discuss all matters related to the submission.
  • A self-contained abstract of no more than 150 words should be included at the beginning, stating the purposes of the study, procedures, findings and conclusions. After the abstract a list of index terms (a total of five to ten key words and phrases) should be given. The author(s) should provide also a classification according to the ACM Computing Classification System (1998) which can be found at http://www.acm.org/class/.

·         Footnotes should be numbered consecutively and placed at the foot of the page where they have to appear. The footnotes related to the title and author’s names must not be numbered.

·         All references should be listed and numbered at the end of the paper, either alphabetically by author(s)’ last names, and then by the year if the same author has several papers, or by order of citation in the text (though the first option is preferred), in the following format: a) to books—author, title, location, year of publication; b) to articles in periodicals or collections—author, title of the article, title of the periodical (collection), volume, year, page numbers; c) to WWW sites—author, title, address, date when consulted.

·         The references should be cited in the text by the corresponding number enclosed in square brackets.  All entries in the reference list must correspond to citations in the text and vice versa.

  • When sending hard copy, author(s) should keep a copy of the original manuscript. Manuscripts will not be returned.

Proofs: Galley proofs are sent to the specified address for correspondence.

  • The authors will be charged for corrections in the galley proofs exceeding 10% of the text.
  • Authors will receive a free copy of the journal and a PDF file with the article as published.
