Abstract: Followers of the old Bulgarian tradition in folk arts are a number of amateur-appled artists, including members of the Home culture club Nadezda Hope – 1869 – Veliko Tarnovo, which in 2017 celebrates the 30th anniversary. The beginning of the club was launched in 1987 from a heart woman Tsvetanka Dacheva. She was able to gather and unite 46 women from diffrent professions, but with impessive skills who care for home, protect and recreate the authentic national clothes, home decoration and culinary. The main aim of the club placed at the beginning is to preserve and renew the tradition in the development of the ancient handicrafts. To promote their work the club organizes regular exhibitions. Traditional exhibitions for Christmas, Baba Marta, the celebration of the city Veliko Tarnovo, Easter turned the club into one of the emblems of Nadezda 1869. Today, the club has 20 members and its chairman is Pavlina Vladeva. Women master of crafts managed to take the most rational of Bulgarian tradition, cleverly combininig it with foreign ones and create new models woven harmoniously into the modern interior with unique and shining light, strive to preserve and love to pass on to future generations historically formed life, spirituality and culture of our people. Bulgarian and foreign tourists passing through Veliko Tarnovo take from shops and bazaar exhibitions knitting, embroidery of martenitza as a memory of contiguity with the history and culture of medieval Tarnovo.
