Abstract: The restoration of cultural and historical heritage today does not always lead to the actual expected results, with a meaningful translation of the concepts of "preservation" and "conservation". In recent years there has been a recovery of an old, not as successful, old practice from the 60s and 80s of the last century as the restoration of ancient fortresses and buildings in a presumably expected form - the original original.
Today, in days of technological revolution, the possible methods of preservation and preservation of cultural and historical heritage through digitization are real, many and different. There are sites for which the only chance of preservation is digitization. Objects that are registered in the national treasure map and which quietly crash as the sun sets.
