Abstract: In 2021 REM - Plovdiv received the collection of prof. Julia Dilova, donated by her daughter Tsvetina Erokhina after her mother passed away. The collection contains over 500 different items. Today, it is very rare for museums to receive collections of this proportion, representative of different regions of the Bulgarian ethnic territory. In order to promote the donation, the museum created a project and received funding from Plovdiv 2019 Foundation. It includes five videos, an exhibition "The Apron – a Symbol and an Apotropaic", a catalog "With Love for the Woven", post cards and promotional materials. It was our desire to pay tribute to people like her, who have collected the pieces of our beautiful Bulgarian heritage. For only by shedding light on them can we thank them enough and make their work contagious to everyone who sees our future better through the conservation of our traditional culture and identity.
