Topics

Specialized mathematical methods for analysis and solution of problems involving uncertain data: linear and nonlinear systems, dynamic systems, control systems etc.

Advanced software and hardware tools for scientific computation, including problems under uncertainty

Application of the above mentioned and other suitable methods and tools to studying mathematical models in biology, ecology, biotechnology, bio-economics, medicine, engineering etc.

The international Workshop on Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computation (MMSC'09) follows the traditions of the MMSC'02, MMSC'01, MMSC'93 and BIOMATH'95 conferences.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together specialists from diverse areas of mathematics and computer science, and specialists in applications of mathematics and informatics in biology, biotechnology, ecology, bio-economics, medicine, engineering etc.
The workshop will provide a forum for presentation of papers which describe new modelling methodologies and will feature novel mathematical methods and advanced software tools and their application. The program encourages wide range of discussions by all participants on basic problems and future directions.
