Application of mathematical modelling in metal science

Several mathematical models and numerical simulation of heat
transfer, mass transfer and crystallization processes occurring
in the formation of metal structures are considered. It is shown
that major characteristics of the processes as well as the effect
of the technological parameters on these characteristics can be
determined by means of mathematical modelling.
