Emil Kolev
Director of HSSIMI
Professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, D.Sc. He is the Director of HSSIMI since 2015 when he replaced Prof. Oleg Mushkarov who has been successfully guiding and developing the institute for 10 years.
Emil Kolev has been engaged since 1992 in the preparation of gifted students for competitions, olympiads and other similar events. He is one of the leaders and trainers of the Bulgarian team for the International Mathematics Olympiad since 1999.
Emil Kelevedjiev
Deputy Director
Works at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in the organization and carrying out of national and international competitions in informatics from the very beginning. He is a chairman of the National Committee of Informatics Olympiad. He has been the leader of the Bulgarian team for the International Olympiad in Informatics for many years.
Research interests: Operations research, optimization algorithms, programming for competitions and olympiads.
Adelina Radeva
Coordinator
Adelina studies archaeology at Sofia University. She graduated from the Sofia Mathematical High School. She is a HSSIMI alumna from 2010.
Her research interests are in the fileds of computer and mathematical linguistics. She teaches mathematical linguistics (as extracurricular course) at the Spanish High School in Sofia.
Adelina joined the High School Student Institute in 2015.
Albena Vassileva
Coordinator
Albena is working at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, at the department of Education in Mathematics and Informatics, She joined the team of HSSIMI in 2015. Albena has been working with students of all ages interested in mathematics and informatics in various projects and programs of IMI and other organizations.
