Authors: Lilia Lozanova Abstract: Critical thinking has been studied by researchers from different historical periods. Thanks to their theories, the understanding of it, its essence and content have been enriched. Representatives of various scientific fields, as well as artists from all eras, have focused their attention on its manifestations and development. The accumulated views and concepts of critical thinking are the basis for the modern understanding of this phenomenon, which has become one of the significant educational goals in the conditions of the media-information society. This article aims to present some of the views of famous philosophers, educators, and thinkers on critical thinking. Keywords: Critical Thinking.
