Scientific Program
The scientific program of BGSIAM'18 will include: invited plenary lectures, contributed talks, and poster session.
BGSIAM encourages the organization of special sessions, within the general topic of the conference. The deadline for applications to organize a special session is September 30, 2018.

Proceedings of refereed and presented papers will be published as a special volume of Springer Series, Studies in Computational Intelligence.
Abstracts and Papers
The participants who intend to give a talk are kindly asked to send an Extended Abstract (between one and two pages) until November 30, 2018. The extended abstracts are to be written in standard LaTeX, using the template. The length of the extended abstract should be between one and two pages. The abstracts should be prepared according to the topics of the conference, stating clearly the originality of the results.
The abstracts will be reviewed and the accepted for presentation will be included in the booklet with the extended abstracts which will be available before the meeting. The deadline for notification of acceptance is December 7, 2018. It is assumed that one participant will give not more than one presentation.
The length of the papers is limited up to 12 pages. It is highly recommended to prepare the source files for the papers in LaTeX using the provided template files. The deadline for submission of manuscripts is January 20, 2019.
The submission of abstracts and papers and all communication with the organizers is to be done via the BGSIAM email address: bgsiam@math.bas.bg.

The event will be hosted by the Institute of Mechanics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia 1113, Acad. G. Bonchev Str. Bl. 4.
Fee
The registration fee is 50 EUR and partially covers the booklet of extended abstracts, conference materials, coffee breaks, conference reception, official dinner, office and equipment rent. For SIAM members a reduction of 30% is applicable. The proof of membership for 2018 is required.
The registration fee is to be paid via bank transfer or at the registration desk in cash (in EUR).
