Sixth Scientific Conference with International Participation “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization” (KIN2020)
From 19 to 22 November 2020 in the city of Veliko Tarnovo will be held the Sixth Scientific Conference with international participation “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization” (postponed due to epidemiological measures in the country), which aims to present scientific and scientific applied developments, projects, innovations in the field of cultural and historical heritage. The topics of the conference include cultural heritage, cultural tourism, innovative technologies. Research institutions, universities, libraries, museums, archives, galleries and cultural centers are invited to exchange experiences, ideas and results on the theme of the conference.

Announcement
The STEMEDU-2020 Forum is interdisciplinary. It continues and expands the ideas set out in First STEM Education 2019 with new interdisciplinary areas. A broad-based interpretation of innovative educational technologies will be leading in 2020, with innovation and the application of new mathematical methods in medicine and other scientific fields to be a special aspect of the forum.
Within the framework of STEMEDU-2020 reports of scientists and young specialists from Bulgaria and abroad will be presented: scientific reports - up to 20 min; messages - up to 10 minutes; posters.
Accompanying events:
- Information day/seminar on the NSF project “Investigation of the application of new mathematical methods for cardiology data analysis” by IR, IMI and MU;
- Section: Innovative educational technologies, discrete structures and web accessibility;
- Demonstration of PPG device /finger holster/.
The results of the conference after the review will be published in an online collection, registred at NACID.

Scientific conference with international participation “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Representation, Digitalization” (KIN)
Due to restrictions and anti-epidemic measures in Bulgaria and worldwide, the organizers postpone the KIN2020 conference indefinitely.The deadline for accepting applications is extended to 15 April 2020. New information on the conference will be announced after the state of emergency has been lifted.
Acceptance of extended versions of invited and accepted publication reports (after peer review) starts at adress: kin.conference@gmail.com. The deadline for submitting articles for publication in June 2020 is May 10, 2020. The accepted articles will be published in Volume 6, Issue 1 of a NACID-registered publication.

The International Conference “Prehistoric Ceramics - Inventory and Experimental Studies” was held from 24 to 26 October 2017 in Slatina, Romania. The forum was organized by CCMP Europroject, Romania, as part of the Danube project - “I can hear you and I will not forget you, I can see you and I will remember you, I can recreate you and understand you” eMS code: ROBG 7, financed under the Interreg VA Romania-Bulgaria Program. Scientists from Bulgaria and Romania presented interesting reports on the proposed topic, some of which will be published in the scientific series “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitization”.

The International Conference “Prehistoric Studies in the Light of Modern Discovery in Southeast Europe” was held from 4 to 6 June 2017 in Rousse. The Forum was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Rousse within the framework of the Danube project - “I can hear you and I will not forget you, I can see you and I will remember you, I can recreate you and understand you”, financed under the Interreg Program VA Romania-Bulgaria. Scientists and public figures from Serbia and Bulgaria delivered 14 reports on which a lively discussion took place. Part of the reports will be published in the scientific series “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitization”.

Third Science Conference with International Participation “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization” (KIN2017)
From 6 to 8 April 2017 in the town of Veliko Tarnovo within the incoming International Cultural Tourism Fair, will be held the third conference with international participation “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization”, which aims to present innovations, projects, scientific and applied researches in the field of cultural heritage (CHH). The topics of the conference include cultural tourism, innovative technologies in the preservation, digitization and presentation of world and national tangible and intangible cultural heritage. These aspects will be reviewed and discussed: copyright, hagiology, archeology, archival science, architecture, accessibility, ethnology, economics, history, cultural routes, marketing, learning, organization of cultural tourism and others. Research institutions, universities, libraries, museums, archives, galleries and cultural centers are invited to share experiences, ideas and results on the subject of the conference.

An international conference on “Cultural and historical heritage - state, research and conservation in the cross-border region - Northern Bulgaria and Southern Romania” was held from 30 November to 2 December 2016 in the town of Vratsa. The forum was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa within the framework of the Danube project - “I can hear and I will not forget you, I can see you and I will remember you, I can recreate you and understand you”, financed under the Interreg Program VA Romania-Bulgaria. The scientific event was supported by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Regional Academic Center - Vratsa. Scientists from Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria presented 20 reports on the subject, some of which will be published in the scientific series “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitization”. The participants had the chance to see the exhibitions “Apparel and Arms in Medieval Bulgaria” and “From the Destruction to the Creation” presented at the Regional History Museum in Vratsa.

On 24 and 25 March 2016 in “Slaveyche” branch of PNL “P. R. Slaveykov” in the Veliko Tarnovo city held the Second national conference with international participation “Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitization” (KIN 2016). The organizers are the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics - BAS, the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria - Veliko Tarnovo branch and the Regional Public Library “P. R. Slaveykov” - Veliko Tarnovo. The conference was dedicated to the celebration of the town of Veliko Tarnovo, 135 years since the death of Kolio Ficheto and 45 years from the foundation of the Regional History Museum - Veliko Tarnovo. Presented were new scientific researches, projects and developments in the field of cultural and historical heritage (CHH). Discussed were modern interdisciplinary methods and technologies and their application in the field of CHH. Special attention was paid to researches in the fields of Orthodox heritage and cultural tourism. It was shared experience in the use of new advansed digital approaches and 3D-technologies for presentation of CHH. Reported were realized pilgrimage routes, expeditions and new discoveries. During the conference was held a special session for young scientists and graduate students. At the roundtable (with the possibility for online participation) on the theme “Ensuring Web accessibility in the region of Veliko Tarnovo” are discussed access of people with disabilities to cultural sites. Were presented the network and the manual of web accessibility, developed in the project of foundation “Horizons”. Exhibition “Destruction and disregard” of the results of digitization of the architectural work of master Nikola Fichev was exposed from March 16 to March 25 2016 in the house with the monkey. Participants in KIN 2016 went on walking route “In the footsteps of Kolio Ficheto in Veliko Tarnovo”.

On 26.11.2014 in the Veliko Tarnovo city at “Europe” Hall of University of Veliko Tarnovo was held scientific conference “Cultural and Historical Heritage - Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization” dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Organizer is a Regional Academic Center - Veliko Tarnovo. Co-organizers are the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Veliko Turnovo University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” and the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics - BAS. At the conference opening brought greetings deputy rector of the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” Prof. Dr. Petko St. Petkov, chief coordinator of the Regional Academic Centers Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Academician Yachko Ivanov. The conference included a special PhD session with the participation of young scientists and graduate students.
