The conference organisers cordially invite their colleagues to participate in the 19th International Summer Conference on Probability and Statistics, to be held in Pomorie, Bulgaria, 25 - 30 June 2020.

Co-organizers of the event are:

  • Bulgarian Statistical Society
  • Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
  • Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”
  • All topics within the Aims and Scope of the ISCPS will be considered for oral and poster presentation.

    The 19th ISCPS conference will focus on new trends in Stochastic processes, Probability theory and Statistical Inference with special emphasis on Branching processes, Order statistics, Stochastic modelling and Reliability, Biostatistics.

    Organization and suggestion of special sessions within the framework will be strongly encouraged.

    The conference booklet will contain abstracts and short communication papers. Short communication should not exceed 4 pages (or 8 pages for Invited Speakers). Submitted paper will follow a simple reviewing procedure.

    For submitting an abstract or a paper, preferably LaTeX .tex files will be accepted. Source file, which contains plain text only, can be submitted in plain text format .txt . Put all source files in a compressed .zip file if you insert some figures in your abstract or paper.

    Deadline for abstract and paper submission is April 15, 2020.

    Presentations

    The Program will include invited talks and ordinary research talks. The time for presentation of invited talks is 30 minutes and the time for ordinary talks is 20 minutes, including questions.

    Journal publication

    Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of Pliska Studia Mathematica after the conference.

    Registration fee includes: admission to all sessions, conference materials, welcome reception, coffee breaks, 4 lunches and conference banquet, half-day afternoon excursion. Publication in the Conference Proceedings is also included as well as consideration for paper publication in books or journals.
