The INIS interdisciplinary scientific network empowers the scientific community to share research infrastructure and knowledge-based resources (such as collections, databases, archives and other types of structured scientific information) and to conduct collaborative, multidisciplinary research with broader research communities in Bulgaria and abroad.

An interdisciplinary seminar and network "Information society" is a forum for scientific discussions and initiatives related to the applications of modern technologies and innovations in the humanities and other sciences. The aim is thus to provide an opportunity for close collaboration between experts in different fields of science, which implement these technologies. The seminar was held in Veliko Tarnovo, every last Thursday of the month, mobile home option for virtual lectures and discussions on joint projects with partners from other cities and countries.

Scientific conference with international participation INIS (Interdisciplinary Scientific Network - Information Society), has an interdisciplinary character, continuing the ideas embedded in the scientific network. A broad-spectrum interpretation of innovations and innovative educational technologies is leading, with a special aspect of the forum being accessibility technologies for people with special needs and applications of new mathematical methods in medicine and other scientific fields.
International Scientific Conference "Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization"

The interdisciplinary forum has been held annually since 2014 in Veliko Tarnovo. The main directions of the conference are the preservation, digitalization and presentation of the cultural and historical heritage (CHH). The interdisciplinary forum aims to present scientific and applied developments, projects, innovations in the field of cultural and historical heritage (CHH). The main emphasis is on modern research trends and innovative applications in this broad-spectrum field, as well as the Bulgarian experience in the presentation and digitalization of cultural and historical heritage. Presentation of researches in the humanities: archeology, museology, historiography, medievalism, architecture, ethnology, folklore, cultural anthropology, linguistics, literature, musicology, theology, theater, fine arts, screen arts, etc., as well as their relationship with information technologies, digitalization, digital conversion, publication of electronic information arrays on cultural, historical and scientific heritage, systematization and effective access.

The forum STEMEDU-2022 is interdisciplinary, continuing and broadening the ideas set out in the previous conferences STEMEDU. In 2022, a broad-based interpretation of innovative educational technologies will be leading, with a special aspect of the forum being innovation, accessibility technologies and the application of new mathematical methods in medicine and other scientific fields.
Internacional Scientific Conference - Living Cultural Heritage

The forum is aimed to the theme for preservation, presentation and digitization of the cultural heritage and has interdisciplinary nature. The leading purpose is the broad-spectrum interpretation of the concept of living cultural heritage. On the one hand - as a phenomenon of the living cultural practices and in general - as a scientifically systematized digital content of various tangible and intangible values from museums, archives, community centers etc. Sharing the Bulgarian and foreign experience in specialized and interdisciplinary scientific research, the exchange of modern information technology solutions as well, will be useful in achieving meaningful and technologically renewed living knowledge about the cultural heritage.
KIN Journal (Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization)

Cultural and Historical Heritage: Preservation, Presentation, Digitalization (KIN Journal) has been published since 2015. It is a open access, peer-reviewed, online journal published by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, BAS . The Editorial Board consists of world recognized researchers from different countries. It is included in the reference list of the National Center for Information and Documentation (NACID). The journal’s issues are published regularly two times a year. Also special issues are published. We aim to bring important research work in field of preservation, digitalization and presentation of world and national cultural heritage. The language of publication is Bulgarian, English or Russian. Publication of papers is free-of-charge.
