Projects
- COST Action CA21135 Modelling immunotherapy response and toxicity in cancer (2022-2026)
I am member of Working groups 3 Solid tumors and 4 Hematologic tumors.
- COST Action CA21147 European Network on Optimising Treatment with Therapeutic Antibodies in chronic inflammatory diseases (2022-2026)
I am member of Working group 2 Individualised (TDM-guided) treatment optimisation of therapeutic antibodies.
- National Science Programme "Petar Beron i NIE" funded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science
Project Reduced Basis Methods with Application to Models of Cancer Growth and Evolution (2020-2022) (more in Bulgarian) - I am principal investigator
- COST Action 16227 Investigation and mathematical analysis of avant-garde disease control via mosquito nano-tech repellents (2017-2022) - I am management committee member
A COST Action is a network dedicated to scientific collaboration complementing national research funds, and is funded by the EU Programme Horizon 2020. I am studying the dynamics of dengue fever in populations using epidemiological models of the SIR type and control strategies based on mosquito repellents in products for personal use.
Here is a poster presentation of the scope of this network (in Bulgarian).
- National Science Program IKTvNOS (2018-2021) funded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science
Our workgroup at the institute is a participant in Task 1.2.3 "Development of new mathematical methods and computational techniques for study and validation of dynamical models described by differential equations and their applications".
In the Proceedings of the Fiftieth Jubilee Spring Conference of the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians there is an overview (PDF in Bulgarian) of the results on dengue fever modelling obtained in collaboration with my colleague from IMI M. Borisov, G. Dimitriu (Iaşi) and B.W. Kooi (Amsterdam).
