To: All participants in the international conference Constructive Function Theory, June 19-23, 2002, Varna

Dear Colleagues,
This is our second announcement about the upcoming conference "Constructive Function Theory" which will be held on June 19-23 in Varna, Bulgaria.

1. The arrival day is June 18 and the departure day is June 24. If you inform us about your arrival time, we will meet you at the Varna airport. The registration desk at the conference site, the International Home of Scientists "Fr. Joliot-Curie", St. Constantine resort, Varna, will be open Tuesday evening on June 18, from 17:00 to 21:00. Lectures will begin Wednesday morning, June 19, and will end Sunday evening, June 23.
   
   
2. We plan to rent a bus for those participants in the conference who will fly to Sofia, to be driven to Varna (on June 18) and back, from Varna to Sofia airport (on June 24). The bus will leave from the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Sofia (and pass through the airport), on June 18, about 14:00 local time. The price for one person, in one direction, is $20. If you intend to travel by this bus, --->Please send e-mail to: cft@math.bas.bg by April 10, 2002 (specify if there are accompanying persons with you).
   
   
3. If you intend to present a talk at the conference, send an abstract written in LaTeX (at most 15 lines) to the e-mail address: cft@math.bas.bg not later than May 20, 2002.
   
   
4. Since there is only a limited number of rooms available in the International Home of Scientists "Fr. Joliot-Curie", most of the participants of the conference will be accommodated at the near by hotels, which are in a walking distance from the conference site.
   We selected hotels of different categories: hotel Gloria, two stars (**), hotel Rositza, three stars (***), hotel Lebed , hotel Rubin, four stars (****). A local map is available at www.varna2002.com (see "conference site" in the menu bar).
   If you have arranged already accommodation on your own, please inform us: send an e-mail to cft@math.bas.bg with "accommodation" on the subject line and text "done", followed by your name.
   We expect all other participants (except the Plenary speakers and the members of the Programme committee) to inform us about their preferences concerning Hotel reservation as soon as possible. You can do this through our home page www.varna2002.com/hotel_reservation.html. You will find there a price list of the hotels. The orders for reservation in the IHS "Fr. Joliot-Curie" will be done on the "first come first served" bases.
   
   
5. The International Home of Scientists offers meal (Lunch and Dinner) for participants who are accommodated in other hotels at a price of $8. Please, indicate in an email to cft@math.bas.bg if you require meal in IHS:

   ---Vegetarian food requirements: YES
   This information we need by May 20, 2002.
   
   
6. The registration fee is $140 for participants in the conference and $90 for accompanying persons. The payment is made in cash upon the registration (unfortunately, we can not accept credit cards or cheques). The registration fee covers the excursion, banquet, welcome party, refreshments and the proceedings volume.
   
   
7. The participants may use overhead projectors and/or black boards to present their talks.
   
   
8. The refereed contribution papers will be published in a Proceedings Volume. The papers are to be written in LaTeX and should not exceed six pages. Please, note the early deadline for submission of contributed papers: August 31, 2002.
