Abstract: In the article ideas for exploring cultural routes for pilgrims and developing tourist products for pilgrimage in the North Central Region and the North West Region of the Republic of Bulgaria are presented. Specifically, opportunities for restoration of the routes of the relics of St. Dimiter of Basarbovo, St. John of Rila, St. Paraskeva-Petka of Tarnovo and St. Philothei of Tarnovo are discussed.
